![]() ![]() (This is the only real use I have for the goggles is the last mission). I always buy a pair when I have more tickets and just keep it on ship storage until the very last level. They reduce the travel cost through fog by -5. Do travel through the fog in the middle of the map to get over to the other side.įog travel is rough, but looks like you had enough food to say screw that and go across.Īn item to help with fog travel are the goggles. The temples or anything else will not be there except wildlife. I know on a first few of my plays I went into the fog deep on the edges. I do not think I ever seen two temples in the same area.ĭo not travel in the fog on the edges. In almost each section should reside a temple. This is helped out by the fog has subsection breaks that you probably noticed int he middle that splits the map into 3-4 sections. Generally speaking they're broken up into three sections that are sort of evenly apart from each other. Your overall goal is to first find the three golden temples. Is it possible that, if you are too slow to traverse the map, the other temples will be shrouded in fog, making it impossible to find them?Īlright here are some tips for completing the level or at least how I approach it. How are you expected to complete this map without a TON of sanity restoring items? If I did not have a level 6 hunting dog and raptor (2 x quail every 15 days), I don't know how I would have survived. I only found 1 and none of the others are revealed. ![]() OK, basically, I just stumbled around from one end of the map to another. What sort of structure or landmark am I supposed to be looking for on this map? And the map is "needle in haystack" huge. I'm concerned about just wandering around randomly because of the fog, Even though I have 40+ gourmet quails, sanity drains so fast that I don't think I'll make it. The gimbal begins spinning near a magnetic mountain and reads "objective reached", but I assume that this is not actually where Malin is located since there's no selectable location (and the text for the mountain suggests that it causes your gimbal to malfunction). Much of the unexplored region of the map is surrounded in fog, so it costs a tremendous amount of sanity to go anywhere. So I'm in the final expedition for my first explorer and am finding it really tough to locate Malin. ![]()
